| This is a very rare and original DC-3 pilot's manual for aircraft serving Capital Airlines. The manual contains many illustrations and drawings. It even contains pages in the manual labels as Pennsylvania Central Airlines. This may have been the first or one of the first DC-3 manuals that Capital Airlines issued after the acquisition of PCA. The manual states that it was issued on September 1, 1949 but pages in it go back to 1942 and Capital Airlines predecessor, PCA. In 1961, Capital Airlines merged with United Airlines.
This is the complete pilot's instructional manual on how to operate the DC-3. It contains detailed instructions, diagrams and hand drawn illustrations on all operations related to the DC-3 aircraft in service by Capital Airlines.
